Galleries
Portraits
Here is a sampling of human and animal portraits that I have done, in several mediums. My favorite medium is oil paint, but I also enjoy acrylic paint, pencil, and bronze sculpture.
Wildlife Illustration
I love all kinds of animals, and really enjoy creating wildlife illustrations of them.
This is a photogragh of me with a lion cub when I was studying big cats back in my college days in New Jersey. “Elvis Jr” was only 10 months old and already weighed 110 pounds.

Graphic Design
The following are a few examples of my graphic design work. Some are done digitally and others in traditional mediums. Click on an image to view all of them in a gallery.
Fantasy Art
Fantasy art is a very creative genre. I find it artistically challenging to use my imagination to create something completely new, yet executed it in a believable way. My fantasy art is greatly influenced by artists such as Maxfield Parrish, The Brothers Hildebrandt, and Boris Vallejo. Click on an image to view all of them in a gallery.
Photos: Rafting the Grand Canyon
I led the mighty Venture Scout Crew 209 to an unforgettable white water rafting trek down the Grand Canyon. Here are a few photos.
“Tiana and Her Furry Friend” book
This book is based on the last movie I worked on at Disney Animation, “The Princess and the Frog.” It is the first book I painted digitally, using only Photoshop. Click on an image to view all of them in a gallery.
“Hope” book
This book was sponsored by the Humane Society of the America. To capture the detail of the pig fur I chose to work in acrylic paint. Click on an image to view all of them in a gallery.
“Little Chick’s Easter Treasure” book
This original story was my first book painted entirely in acrylic paint. Click on an image to view all off them in a gallery.
“Ghosts” book
A great collection of classic ghost stories, including my all time favorite, “The legend of Sleepy Hollow,” by Washington Irving. I created 20 color oil paintings and 10 black & white pencil illustraitons. Click on an image to view all of them in a gallery.
